We ordered the boys new car seats and they are so adorable. We put them together and they love sitting next to each other now. We hear them laughing and playing together way more than when they were sitting on the outside. We are going to put their old seats in Daniel's car so that it is more convenient for when he wants to take his car with the boys and leave me with mine. Also we can fit an infant carrier and another Radian seat for when we adopt again.

 I love the wings on the seat. It seems that they sleep more comfortable with them because they have a place to lay their head now instead of it flopping forward.

For Labor day we decided to go ride a miniature train that is a 40 minute ride. We knew our boys would really enjoy it since they LOVE trains right now. My brother and his friend also came along with us. We got there and only had to wait a few minutes for the next train to come by.

 About half way through our train ride, it stopped and we got off to stretch our legs. We were just hanging out and Daniel decided take Carter for a little stroll. He found a pecan tree and while holding Carter, just up  to grab a pecan on the tree. When he came down, he landed on his toes and heard a pop. He headed back to the train and jumped on. He then told me that he thought he just broke his toe. I could tell he was in a lot of pain for the remainder of the train ride. When we got back to the beginning, he got off of the train and slowly made it to a nearby poll. He then told me that he felt like he was going to faint and the next second, he did! Luckily I was standing in front of him and was able to lower him to the ground as much as I could. He still ended up scraping up his knee and forehead. Thankfully, I didn't have either of our boys because my brother and his friend had them. I called his name a few time and he finally woke up and was really out of it. He then attempted to stand up and walk over to a table. I don't know how he made it to the table because he looked like he was drunk. He doesn't remember any of this either! After a worker got him some water and ice for his foot, he finally started to feel a little better. I went over and got the car and came back to pick him up.

When we got home, I convinced him to go to the ER to get an x-ray of his foot to make sure it wasn't broken. He only had to wait maybe 5 minutes before they called us back. After about an hour at the ER, we found out it wasn't broken.

Two weeks later and his foot is still killing him. The swelling is slowly going down and he can at least walk on it but it still hurts really bad. He has two toes that are swollen and very bruised. The toe next to his big toe and then the toe next to his pinky. It's been absolutely gorgeous outside lately and he has been sad because he go enjoy the outdoors.

Daniel's parents came down last weekend and so we went to downtown Fort Worth to do a little site seeing. We headed over to the Fort Worth Water Gardens first. 

 HAHA! Carter and Daniel ended up matching! I dressed Carter and didn't pay attention to what Daniel already had on.

After we left the Water Gardens, we headed over to the Fort Worth Convention Center. It was a great place to let the boys run free and cool off since it was nice and cool in there.

After we left the convention center, we asked the boys if they wanted to ride a bus. Of course they said "yes!" So we got on Molly the Trolly and rode around downtown. We got off at our car and headed over to the Amon Carter Museum. We spend around an hour there and then the boys started to get fussy and were a little bored. 

 Our last stop was the Trinity River.

Talon was fighting it but he finally gave in.

Last Sunday we headed to downtown Fort Worth so Daniel could finally show us his new office. He switched job a couple of months ago and I had been wanting to see where he spends his time now. The boys favorite thing in his office....his calculators!

After we left his office, we decided to walk around downtown. We love downtown Fort Worth because it is very family friendly and safe. We love living here!

My boys love animals! In the past few weeks, we've gone to Cabelas, Pet Co and Petsmart during the day.

They love birds! They always look out the windows at home and watch the birds in the sky or on the ground.

 Talon was terrified of the elephant. This is as close as he got before he turned around and ran the other direction. 

I'll be so happy once is cools down some and we can go to the zoo again. We are also planning a trip to Sea World in October and I think I will be just as excited as my boys. 

The other night it finally rained. It had been a while since we had gotten a nice thunderstorm. The boys weren't a huge fan of the thunder and lightning. They both sat on my lap for a good hour while the worst part of the storm passed. When Daniel got home, Talon insisted that he wanted to go outside in the pouring rain and he was not happy with us when we told him no. So we waited for it to stop lightning and then Daniel took them outside on the front porch to watch the rain fall. 

Daniel's parents, Nana and Papa Bob, came down for the weekend to visit us and the boys. They also brought with them some presents for Carter and Talon. 

 So excited that the boys are actually interested in the presents now instead of the wrapping paper! 

 Carter got a Leap Frog laptop computer. 

 And Talon got a Leap Frog ipad.

 On Saturday evening, Daniel's parents watched the boys so we could go have a date night. Our friend's got engaged that night and we missed it by 2 minutes. We are so excited for them and I can't wait to have Kristan live closer to me! We went to a Sushi restaurant afterwards to celebrate and anyone who knows me, knows that I am a very picky eater. Luckily they had chicken there!!! Daniel won't eat sushi either because he lived in Japan for a few years and he said that sushi is not the same here in the states as it is there. We went with the newly engaged couple and another couple that we are good friends with. It was funny listening to the guys talk about Daniel. They think he is such a stud because he is good at everything he tries. Which is so true! It was great having a date night with our friends and having some fun adult time.

We always love it when family comes into town. Daniel got to go rock climbing with his Dad on Saturday morning and I got to go shopping with his mom in the afternoon. Not to mention that our boys love them! On Monday morning, Talon was walking about the house saying "Nanny" and Carter was saying "Papa". So cute!
